AGAIN, RIVERS ASSEMBLY OVERRIDES GOVERNOR FUBARA ON 3 BILLS Riding on the crest of Section 100(5) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 as amended, and in furtherance of legislative positivism in the interest of the people, the Rivers State House of Assembly, on Thursday, at its 94th Legislative Sitting, has again over overridden the assent of Governor Siminialayi Fubara on three Bills, which were earlier passed and transmitted to Governor Fubara for assent over a month ago. The House took the decision to override the Governor after he withheld his assent to the Bills.
