So age factor is not an excuse for Biden to quit the race as some pundits within the democratic party suggested due to old age, weakness, and some blunders, President Biden has claimed some achievements during his presidency such as creating 15 Million Jobs, debt forgiveness for 5.6 student loans beneficiaries plus other reforms in the United States, in recent years we have seen older leaders like Mahathir Mohammed of Malaysia at 95 becoming Prime Minister after his previous 22 years stint, also Former Zimbabwean dictator Robert Mugabe at 94 years before his ouster in 2017.

In the 2024 elections it is clear that rematch between the 45th and 46th Presidents of the United States first of its kind in recent history is living to its billing,with the recent assassination attempt on Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Butler Pennsylvania receding the 2024 Republican convention in millwakee Wisconsin it is an interesting scenario for the American electorate,However after relentless pressure by democrats to quit the 2024 US Presidential race President Joe Biden on Sunday July 14 finally acceded to the call by members of the Democratic party by quitting the Race the first time in 56 years a sitting Incumbent head of State by endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris to succeed him as the Presidential flagbearer of the Democrat Party this move galvanised the electoral base of Democrats with Congress leaders like Hakeem Jefferies of the House of Representatives,Senator Chuck Schumer of the Senate alongside former US Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama endorsing Vice President Harris, also 75% of the industrial unions in USA endorsing Kamala, close to 58000 volunteers have signed up for the US Vice President,raise so far close to $300m in less than one month, also American Popstar Beyonce Knowles donated her song Freedom to Kamara Harris Presidential Campaign alongside notable celebrities like Pink,Megan The Stallion all queuing behind Kamala Harris reminiscent of Barack Obama 2008 Presidential campaign..
With less than 100 days to the November 5th, 2024 elections, Vice President Kamala Harris secured the Presidential ticket of the Democratic Party on Friday 2nd of August 2024 by virtual delegates call scoring more than 2540 delegates to clinch the ticket ahead of the Democratic Party National Convention slated for Chicago in August where the deal will be formally sealed to take on Republican challenger and former US President Donald J Trump.

As the days begin for a fierce electoral campaign for Vice President Harris who clocks 60 years by October 20, 2024, if she finally prevails in the November election, making history again as she becomes the first Female elected President of the United States of America despite her foreign parentage born to Jamaican Father and an Indian Mother.
